The show is sponsered by Verizon Wireless, so all the phones used are available at Verizon. Everyone else kind of has a generic phone. At one point Serena has an LG Chocolate (that she throws in the trash) and Dan is seen using a Moto ROKR, which is similar to the Chocolate. At one point Nate is seen using a Samsung JUKE to play music, but afterwards is seen using a different phone to call someone. It's all marketing, in my opinion.
