I recall a poll of about 1100 Muslims right after 9/11 conducted by Boston University. The overwelming view of Americans was that they were 1) violent, 2) greedy and 3) immoral. Yet only 1 in 11 had ever met an American and none had ever been here. When asked how they knew what Americans were like the overwelming answer was…we’ve seen your movies and watch your television programs!….HELLO!!…I’m sorry but the Hollywood projected image of me ISN’T correct…and I would believe the same of many of you. Yet, I / we are a target of hatred for negatively influencing other cultures…but…NOT me / us… Hollywood!…scarey!!! What say you?
