How Come Conservatives Never Before Acted Like Hollywood Was Corrupt, But Now Think It Is Because Of Al Gore?

I assume it’s just like the Barbara Streisand and Dixie Chicks thing. Anything that supports liberals or says something against the Bush administration is automatically evil and corrupt?
