I saw 3:10 to Yuma, and the ending was kind of stupid, and open to very heated arguments. I think I understand what happened, but because it was not clear, the resolution could have gone several different ways.
I hate that because maybe it’s a cop out to get away from coming up with a true ending because the director couldn’t think of one. Also, it opens up numerous speculation and creativity on the ending, which may or may not be really what was intended to happen.
Forget the artsy nonsense, I just want clear, rational and believable endings. Vague endings are cop-outs and unsatisfyng.
