This is probably a stupid question, but why do they vote Democratic when they are so rich? The Dem’s want to tax the wealthiest people, so it just doesn’t make sense to me, unless they have ways of hiding their money, loopholes or something. Let me know.

This is a real question, my wife is Jewish and tends conservative but every other member of her family leans heavily democratic and quite liberal, and proud to tell me. Recently, I asked why they thought the democrats had been so silent on what is going on with hzbollah and why (it appears this way) that they are leaving Bush out on a limb to support Israel and have quite literally gone into a shell. I am not interested in holy mantra’s or political sidelights I am really very interested in hearing from serious observers and if they happen to be Jewish so much the better.

Jon Voight, Tom Selleck, Chuck Norris, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Bo Derek, Patricia Heaton, and Heidi Montag are Republicans from Hollywood. Most of the PGA golfers and NASCAR drivers are Republicans. There are other Hollywood types like Clint Eastwood and John Laroquette who consider themselves conservative but are more Libertarian which is not Democratic either. I would guess 90% however are Democrats which is odd considering their candidate wants to tax the rich much more than they are taxed now.

not all, but as a whole, most famous actors/actresses are pro-democrat
my theory, and feel free to throw yours up also, is that when lower and middle income demographics have more money, they go see more movies, thereby advancing the careers of hollywood actors moreso..
