I know that there is 10, and a prequel making it 11– but is there more than one series? Or are their ONLY 11 books making up ALL of gossip girl.

I’m pretty sure it was Jenny. Does Nate hook up with V in the books at all? I didn’t think she had much contact with the boys except Dan in the books.
Then again, the tv show has messed up what I remember about the books. Oh well. I still love it, guilty pleasure though it is.

Okay I am a avid watcher of Gossip Girl, however episode 14 confused me somewhat. It’s when Chuck’s father has died and he is having trouble coping with it, however in that episode it is also shown that Blair has supposedly slept with Chuck’s uncle, Jack. This has confused me quite a bit as it is not mentioned again and Jack just leaves after the next couple of episodes and we didn’t see it happen and it just didn’t seem to fit into the storyline?! I just don’t understand how it fitted in and what was going on! I’m in Scotland so I’m watching the episodes on the internet but have DEFINITELY watched them all and not skipped one out and have watched up to episode 17, Carrnal Knowledge, the very last one so far.
Would somebody kind out there PLEASE explain to me in detail what’s going on and THANK YOU.
Also, how CUTE are Chuck and Blair?! Adorable. Does anyone know if they’ll get back together by the end of the series??
